Dr. Nausheen Mirza is a Toronto-born General Dentist with over 13 years of clinical experience across Canada and the United States. Raised in Woodbridge from the age of two, she returned home to bring her vision for Alae Dental to life and serve the community she has always called home.

Dr. Mirza completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology at York University before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in 2013. She later completed an Implant Fellowship through the University of Florida and has pursued continuing education through Spear Education and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI).
Clinical Experience & Education
Throughout her career, Dr. Mirza has practiced in both private and corporate settings in Canada and the United States. She also served for many years as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, contributing to the clinical education of future dentists. While practicing in Tampa, Florida, Dr. Mirza was recognized as an Invisalign Gold Provider and was voted one of “Tampa's Top Dentists” by Tampa Style Magazine.

Her years in clinical practice, education, and advanced training shaped the vision behind Alae Dental, a modern, relationship centred practice grounded in trust, continuity, and personalized care. Her approach combines modern dentistry and technology with clear communication and individualized attention. She takes the time to understand each patient's needs and goals, explain their options, and help them feel comfortable and informed throughout their care.
